Lord High Williamsburg Establishes Embassy with the United Commonwealth

Just today, Lord High Williamsburg, Secretary General of The Norwegian Alliance, signed off on an embassy with the United Commonwealth, further expanding Alliance diplomacy with like-minded worlds. As the greatest minds in the region continue to scour the multiverse for possible allies, we time and time again strike gold, as we seem to have done here. The Lord High Justice has already claimed the deal to be “one of the best things I’ve signed off on in years” (Alliance Command Press Conference, dated April 7, 2310). Minister of Foreign Affairs Olivia Schmitt, who was present at the signing, has yet to comment on the situation. It is not yet clear if the embassy will be followed by economic or military cooperation, but it has been implied by President William Baxter of Baxter and Orwell Industries, Ltd., that "this embassy will be most profitable to both the Republic and the Alliance as a whole’ (Industrian Times, dated April 6, 2310).

…Such is the case that embassies act as a sliver of our region, both in sovereignty as well as the trust that the inter-universal community places in it. We are proud to be considered important enough to establish ties with, especially when considering the size of the known multiverse, so to establish such a connection is truly wonderful. We have connections with some of the most wonderous of places, with unique histories, ideals, and technologies that help to further our understanding of the multiverse.

…On the matter of our current embassies, I have found them quite fulfilling, and it is wonderful to know that such wonderful people exist in the empty vastness of the cosmos. It fills me with pride to know that we have contributed to such a large community, and I am hopeful for the future of our relations.

This marks the beginning of The Norwegian Alliance’s embassy with the United Commonwealth. As the current Secretary General of the Alliance, I will be acting as our official diplomat. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them at any time. Again, I am truly hopeful for the future of this embassy.
