The Motion to Amend Proposal 001 is now formally on the floor for approval.

This vote determines whether the proposed changes are incorporated into the Bylaws before the final vote on Proposal 001 itself.

What you need to know:

This is a 24-hour vote on the amendment only
A simple majority of participating Senators is required to adopt it
Vote Yay to approve the amendment, or Nay to reject it

If the amendment passes, Proposal 001 will continue in debate in its amended form until April 27th, after which it will move to a final vote under the standard requirements.

I strongly encourage all Senators to participate. This amendment directly affects how the Senate will function moving forward.
