United Jacaria’s most recent colony, that being Nordstjerne, has recently announced its international program known as FORTRAPIA. Our reporters have scoured the local government to get the scoop, and answer the question: what is FORTRAPIA?
FORTRAPIA is short for the Foreign Trade and Public Infrastructure Act, as ratified by the Jernean parliament several days prior. The program is comprised of 4 parts, named after some of the most prominent stars in our sky.
The first section, RIGIL, is to lay the foundation of the program. When interviewed, Prime Minister Hugo Johansson stated that “the State department plans to begin RIGIL on the 27th”, meaning that in just a few days, we’ll see the groundwork laid for one of the colony’s most important pieces of legislation.
The project’s second section, SIRIUS, is also expected to begin soon. This part begins research into new forms of transportation, the likes of which have never before been seen. Nordstjerne has yet to release a schedule for SIRIUS, but we believe the timeline will begin between April 30th and May 10th. Despite the lack of information, the Jernean government has proven to be not only competent, but incredibly efficient with its internal dealings.
