Establishing a Standardized Technological Baseline for the Post-Apocalyptic Era
To maintain balance, realism, and consistency in roleplay, the United Commonwealth should establish a standardized technological baseline. The goal is not to make every nation identical, but to ensure that factions operate within believable industrial and scientific limits for a near-modern post-apocalyptic world.
Without agreed standards, conflicts become distorted — one faction may field advanced stealth aircraft and autonomous drone swarms while another operates propeller aircraft and improvised armor. A common baseline allows meaningful strategy, logistics, diplomacy, and warfare.
The guiding principle should be:
Technology survives unevenly. Advanced systems may exist, but production, maintenance, fuel supply, and industrial support are limited.
