Senators! Resolution 001, the Bylaws of the Senate, created the position of the Senate Whip. Below is the text of the law:
The Whip is responsible for maintaining active participation amongst fellow Senators. Duties are listed below:
Communicating actively with other Senators to ensure they are aware of pending legislation, are participating in discussions and votes, and are otherwise upholding their responsibilities as listed here and in the Constitution.
Reporting inactive membership statistics to the Speaker.
Maintaining a record of contact attempts for inactive Senators.
Recommending courses of action to the Speaker concerning membership-related administrative actions.
