Citizenship may be acquired by birth, descent, lawful naturalization, or constitutional provision.
All citizens shall enjoy equal legal protection and obligations under the Constitution.
Citizenship may not be revoked arbitrarily and shall only be removed through constitutional judicial procedure.
Dual citizenship may be regulated by national law.
Citizens residing abroad shall remain entitled to constitutional protection by the Republic.
