Guangzhou Rilicon would be taking the Koreas and Eastern China. They would be bordering you for sure, but the new unofficial map hasn’t been released yet.

It would be nice having another neighbor that’s actively involved though. Markenburg was so difficult to get involved with. could definitely make for some good story lines. our area of the world seems the most active by far. would be a great agricultural ally.

Rilicon For RP, I’d rather have never been given the territory than lose the territory and have it be the complete opposite of Zvlokiquix. Transparently and OOC, Zvlokiquix would sooner implode in on itself than see parts of it turn to capitalism and democracy. Plus, there are no provinces or states in Zvlokiquix. It’d make more sense to just have Rilicon be founded where you want the territory than have Zvlokiquix lose territory. That map isn’t where I have Koreas and Eastern China isn’t necessarily “official”, so just have the territory. I’m not going to RP a rebellion within Zvlokiquixian territory. If you want to, feel free to have an RP about the founding populatuon of your country being split between Rilicon ideology and joining Zvlokiquix. But across the board, I don’t want to lose territory. Maybe, and I’m just spit balling here, that area you want was never officially recognized by Zvlokiquix as its own territory. Thessara only credited Zvlokiquix with it, but your people decided to start their own nation instead?

well, I have a question. does your country allow migration out of it? if it does, than it’s possible someone didn’t agree with all of your ideals migrated, started their own civilization, and then I cause a rebellion in that civilization? you never owned it, it was completely independent, but I caused a rebellion and took over? maybe the remnants of Markenburg, and other countries that were from around that area before

Rilicon Sure people can leave, but emigration from established Zvlokiquix territory as shown on the map above to a brand new area would be borderline suicide. They would have no support system from the government of the country they are leaving, there isn’t currently a country to give them assistance, there would be little they could take with them, and surrounding countries would be easier immigration options. There wouldn’t be a large enough population on “Japan” that would go across the sea to start a brand new country. Sure, the majority of my population is there, but I have a lot of Pacific islands that would feel more of a disconnection from the government that I am already trying to unify.

I guess, long story short: people are allowed to leave, they could be a miniscule part of the country Rilicon, but I wouldn’t say Zvlokiquix lost a rebellion for the territory you want.

I’m not going to make a big deal about a tiny part of my population leaving to new places, it was completely independent from Zvlokiquix and was never internationally recognized, and then you, Rilicon, founded it

Zvlokiquix to be clear, the actual territories that Thessara, (or myself the GM) deployed, are supposedly Thessara’s worldview of how borders should be. It’s a necessary incentive as well as thorn in geo-politics, as land is up for grabs and governments can choose to increase their size, liberate themselves from other larger entities or straight up start a geo political conflict, which I see it growing daily tbf.

Thessara I get that. Juggling tons of pacific islands and trying unify them is difficult enough. Trying to hold onto territory that was never officially recognized by Zvlokiquix would stretch the country’s resources even thinner. I’m not saying my country’s citizens couldn’t be a part of it, but having some sort of mass migration to start an independent country doesn’t fit my nation’s lore and history, honestly. I’m not necessarily wanting to play England versus [insert country that has gained independence from England here] because Zvlokiquix isn’t imperialist
