The United States of Thessara Armed Forces are structured to project power across all domains, from the deepest oceans to the furthest reaches of the stars. Each branch carries a distinct mission and specialized combat role supported by the nation’s 27 Trillion Crowns economy.

USTA: United States of Thessara Army
The USTA is the oldest and largest branch, serving as the primary land-based power. Its mission is to occupy and secure territory through overwhelming force and endurance.
Core Role: Large-scale ground warfare, urban operations, and long-term peacekeeping.
Signature Asset: Heavy armored divisions (tanks) and massive infantry legions that serve as the “Iron Fist” of the union.
USTAF: United States of Thessara Air Force
The USTAF manages the skies, providing the nation with rapid global reach and lethal precision from above. It is defined by its speed and technological superiority.
Core Role: Air superiority, strategic bombing, and aerial reconnaissance.
Signature Asset: Advanced stealth interceptors and long-range drone networks capable of striking any target within hours.

TMC: Thessara Marine Corps
The TMC is the union’s “Tip of the Spear.” Unlike the Army, which focuses on holding ground, the Marines focus on taking it. They are a rapid-response, amphibious force that often arrives first at any conflict.
USTSF: United States of Thessara Space Force
The USTSF is the newest branch, protecting Thessara’s interests beyond the atmosphere. It ensures that the union maintains dominance over the orbital “high ground”. Today’s Military
Core Role: Orbital defense, satellite protection, and monitoring extra-planetary threats.
Signature Asset: Kinetic bombardment platforms and orbital interceptors that can neutralize threats before they even enter the atmosphere.
USTAF: Air Force
The Air Force focuses on Stealth and Unmanned Teaming.
The “Wraith” Multi-Role Fighter: This is a 5th-generation stealth jet similar to the F-35 Lightning II. It handles air-to-air combat and precision bombing while acting as a “quarterback” for drones.
“Loyal Wingman” Drones: Unmanned, AI-assisted jets that fly alongside manned fighters to scout or soak up enemy fire.
“Atlas” Strategic Airlifter: A massive cargo plane resembling the C-5 Galaxy, capable of moving entire tank platoons across continents.
USTA: Army
The Army prioritizes Modular Armor and Digital Connectivity.
“Phalanx” Main Battle Tank: A digital-heavy tank like the AbramsX, featuring a hybrid-electric engine for “silent watch” and active protection systems to shoot down incoming missiles.
“Centurion” Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle (OMFV): A high-tech infantry carrier that can be operated by a crew or remotely. It replaces older Bradley-style vehicles with better sensors and drone-launching pods.
“Mule” Support Robots: Small, four-wheeled autonomous vehicles (UGVs) that follow infantry squads to carry extra ammo and heavy gear.

USTN: Navy
The Navy (under the UST umbrella) operates Carrier Strike Groups and Stealth Destroyers.
“Sovereign” Class Supercarrier: A nuclear-powered floating airbase similar to the Gerald R. Ford class, using electromagnetic catapults (EMALS) to launch jets more efficiently.
“Sentinel” Stealth Destroyer: A low-observable warship like the Zumwalt class, designed to get close to enemy shores undetected while packing long-range railguns or cruise missiles.
“Apex” Attack Submarine: High-stealth, nuclear attack subs (like the Virginia class) that hunt enemy ships and launch special forces teams.
USTSF: Space Force
The Space Force doesn’t have “starships” with crews; they focus on Orbital Infrastructure and Rapid Response.
“Argus” Surveillance Constellations: Thousands of small, networked satellites that provide constant 4K coverage of the entire planet.
“Interceptor” Orbital Vehicles: Reusable spaceplanes (like the X-37B) that can stay in orbit for months, deploying or repairing satellites. (WORK IN PROGRESS)
Orbital Cargo Droppers: Pre-positioned “warehouses” in orbit that can drop emergency supplies or precision munitions to any spot on Earth in under 30 minutes. (WORK IN PROGRESS)

TMC: Marine Corps
The Marines focus on Amphibious Speed and Vertical Assault.
“Viper” Tilt-Rotor Transport: An advanced version of the V-22 Osprey used for moving troops quickly from ship to shore.
“Raider” Landing Craft: High-speed hovercraft (LCACs) that can carry a “Phalanx” tank from over the horizon directly onto a beach.
“Stalker” Stealth Walkers: Lightly armored, four-legged robotic scouts used for navigating difficult terrain where wheels might get stuck.
