This thread is home for all decisions made by the JWAAC, the team created by Resolution 002 of the UC Senate that consists of the Speaker and the President.

Each decision will be posted here after it is made by the JWAAC. If the JWAAC decides to abstain from a WA vote, no further action is required. If it is decided a vote should occur, the Speaker is responsible for presenting the Resolution to the Senate for voting.

Concerning GA#531 Repeal: “Tariffs and Trade Convention”, the JWAAC has decided to abstain from voting.

Reasons provided (if any):
The President: The repeal raises some valid points but doesn’t offer any replacement, so it’s hard to fully support it. At the same time, GAR #531 has real flaws we can’t ignore. Staying neutral is the safest move for now.

Concerning Repeal: GA#733 Access to Basic Banking and Lending" the JWAAC has decided to begin a Senate vote to decide the region’s stance on the issue.

The President’s opinion is in favor of the repeal.
The Speaker’s opinion is in favor of the repeal.
