Below is a template for making new proposals. Do not edit anything highlighted in red. Use the standard formatting described in the document (it’s the default in Google Docs).

Proposal Guidelines (not all inclusive, will edit as necessary):
- Proposals must be in the form of a Google Doc. Provide a link so it can be accessed.
- When generating the link, make sure you make it for commenters, not viewers. I need to be able to make suggestions for it. If it’s a viewer link, that will slow down the process.
- If you do not want to use Google Docs or share a link publicly, contact me on Discord, and we’ll work out a solution that will serve your needs.
- Those who are fine with sharing it publicly, you can simply reply to this thread.
- The Speaker chooses a Proposal # upon accepting the Proposal, do not choose a Proposal # on your own.
- Workshop proposals before submitting them for approval! We can skip the whole amendment process if you get them out of the way before it goes to debate.
- You can specify shorter or longer debate and voting periods in the proposal itself.
If you have questions, please direct them to the thread titled “Speaker’s Office” or contact me on Discord.
Ensure you review the Bylaws and the Constitution before submitting proposals. Do not clog the system with frivolous or blatantly illegal proposals.
